Bill first came to Northeast Georgia as a child, vacationing in the mountains with his parents. His family especially loved the Blood Mountain area around Lake Winfield Scott and Suches. He was Florida born, but with both parents hailing from North Georgia, this was always the “best” place to be.
Having made this area “home”, Bill has become very knowledgeable about the area and its people. During his years in this community Bill has been active in the local government. He was elected to serve as a Commissioner in the City of Helen and also served on the White County Water Authority.
Bill and Teressa still live in the 100-plus year old house they started restoring in 1980 when they moved to Helen. The “finish” date is expected soon, but still to be announced.
Before becoming a successful real estate professional, Bill spent 20 years in the automotive industry in various managerial roles. Bill’s introduction into the automotive industry began with a love of cars, especially antique automobiles. He began his automotive career as a painter/restorer and was fortunate enough to be involved in the restoration of many vintage and classic cars.
Bill enjoys meeting new people and sharing the mountains with them!
