Teressa’s family has deep roots in White County. Her grandparents settled here in the 1920’s and her family called Helen “home” until the late 1950’s. Teressa spent her early years in the Northwest Georgia Mountains, but her childhood summers found her on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, on her grandparents’ farm near downtown Helen. Today she resides on a portion of that family farm with her husband Bill. Helen has been “home” again since 1980. It was always her goal to raise her family in Helen and she says, “I got back as soon as I could.” She has a deep love for the mountains and valleys of Northeast Georgia!
Teressa and her husband Bill have been partners in the real estate business since 2002. They enjoy working together and find that their skills complement each other in helping their customers find the perfect properties. Teressa and Bill have enjoy their family which includes two sons and their families one granddaughter, assorted cats, grandcats, dogs, granddogs and horses too.
Teressa has been a licensed real estate agent since 1984. She made real estate her career in 1998. Her previous experience in property development, E911 Mapping and as a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist for the State of Georgia further developed her skills as a competent Real Estate Agent. She is an honor graduate from Piedmont College with a BA in Business Management and has been a registered real estate appraiser. In 2003 she earned her Broker’s License. In 2010 she and Bill started their own firm Fourth Mountain Real Estate.
